Terms of Service
Last updated 10 August 2026
These terms (the “Terms”) govern your use of AutoHub — the autohub website, the vehicle catalogue, the review system, and any APIs we expose (together, the “Service”). The Service is operated by [Company legal name], [registered address] (“AutoHub”, “we”, “us”).
By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Notice. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Who may use AutoHub
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By registering you confirm that you meet that requirement and that the information you give us is accurate. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 16, we will close it and delete the associated personal information.
2. Your account
You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, including keeping your password confidential. Do not share your credentials. Tell us promptly at [security email] if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
You may close your account at any time. Closing your account does not automatically remove reviews you have already published — see “Your content” below.
3. Your content
“Your Content” means anything you submit to the Service — reviews, ratings, pros and cons, ownership details, and any text you type into a form.
- You keep ownership. We do not claim ownership of Your Content.
- You grant us a licence to run the Service. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute and format Your Content so that we can show it to other users of the Service and promote the Service itself. This licence ends when you delete the content, except for copies retained in backups or where another user has already been shown the content.
- Reviews are public.A published review is visible to anyone who visits the vehicle page, together with the display name on your account. Do not include anything in a review that you would not want published — registration numbers, home addresses, phone numbers, or anyone else's personal details.
- You are responsible for it.You confirm that Your Content is your own honest experience, that you have the right to post it, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights or break any law.
4. Review integrity
Reviews only work if they are honest. You must not:
- Post a review for a vehicle you have not driven or owned, or invent an ownership period.
- Accept payment or any other benefit in exchange for a review, or write reviews on behalf of a manufacturer, dealer, or agency without clearly disclosing it.
- Create multiple accounts to post more than one review of the same vehicle, or to vote on your own reviews.
- Post content that is defamatory, obscene, hateful, harassing, or that targets an individual.
- Use the Service to advertise, spam, or run promotions.
We may remove or hide any review, and suspend or close any account, where we reasonably believe these rules have been broken. We are not obliged to review content before it is published and cannot guarantee that every review on the Service is accurate.
5. Catalogue information is indicative
Specifications, prices, on-road price estimates, mileage figures, launch dates and upcoming-model information on AutoHub are provided for general guidance. On-road prices in particular are calculated estimates based on state-level multipliers and will differ from what a dealer quotes you. Always confirm the current price and specification with an authorised dealer before making a purchase decision. We are not liable for decisions made in reliance on catalogue data.
6. Acceptable use of the Service
- Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service, another user's account, or our infrastructure.
- Do not scrape, crawl, or bulk-download the catalogue or reviews except through an API and rate limit we have expressly permitted in writing.
- Do not introduce malware, or take any action that places an unreasonable load on the Service.
- Do not reverse engineer or attempt to derive source code except where that restriction is prohibited by law.
7. Our intellectual property
The Service, its design, code, editorial content, and the AutoHub name and logo belong to us or our licensors. These Terms do not transfer any of those rights to you. You may view and use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.
8. Third-party content and links
The Service may link to third-party websites, or include manufacturer imagery and information supplied by third parties. We do not control those third parties, do not endorse them by linking to them, and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
9. Availability and changes
We are actively developing AutoHub. We may add, change, suspend, or remove features at any time. We aim to keep the Service available but do not promise uninterrupted access, and we may take it offline for maintenance.
We may update these Terms. If a change is material we will give notice — by email or by a notice in the product — before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that date means you accept the updated Terms.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you break these Terms, if we are required to by law, or if continuing to provide the Service to you would expose us or other users to risk. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnity — continue to apply.
11. Disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or that the information on it is complete or current.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, loss of profits, loss of data, or the cost of substitute services. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or [cap amount]. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims, damages and reasonable costs arising from Your Content or from your breach of these Terms.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction], and the courts of [city / court] have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any competent court to protect its intellectual property.
